Dining Rooms    

The Library Restaurant has three private dining rooms available. We have the infamous wine cellar room which is located directly above our climate controlled wine cellar. Hundreds of couples refer to this room as the Proposal Room. This room can accommodate from two to six persons.

Next we have the Reading Room. With it's antique book case and comfortable seclusion, this room accommodates parties from four to twelve.

Next is the Banquet Room, with the mahogany paneling and antique chandelier this room is the perfect setting for parties, receptions, business meetings, and holiday  get-together's. This room  accommodates up to 70 persons.  Our main dining room is known for the ambiance that is truly unique. The antique chandelier in the center of the room casts a soft glow on the gold rimmed boned china and sterling silver place settings. Fresh cut flowers and candlelight add to the intimate surroundings that the Library is known for. The wood burning fireplace adds ambience and seasoned aroma throughout the whole room. The wine cage overflowing with an impressive 110 bottle wine list. Overall the number one rated restaurant in Myrtle Beach.

The Library Restaurant Reception & Cocktail Parties

General Policies

Menu Selection: Parties of 15 persons or less must use the a la carte menu. Parties 15 people or more must choose from one of the three menus options above . Pre-selection of an appetizer is recommended to assure prompt service.

Assistance: The Library can assist in securing flowers, music, photographers, transportation, security, hosts, special decorations or effects, audiovisual equipment and party favors.

Deposit: A non refundable deposit (20% of estimated cost of party) is required to finalize booking. Deposits are credited to the party date and are non refundable. A room charge of $250.00 is required for use of the large banquet room ($250 deposit is waved if room minimum of $1,000 is met or exceeded).

Billing: A 20 % service charge plus 7.5% sales tax will be added to the food/alcohol/etc. All bills are payable at the end of the function unless otherwise arranged.

Guarantee: A guarantee of attendees is preferred 72 business hours in advance of function. The minimum charge for the function will be based on your stated guaranteed number.

Minimums: Food and/or beverage minimums apply for the use of certain areas. Our large banquet room requires a FOOD minimum of $1,000.00 on Fridays and Saturdays after 5 p.m. & Anytime on Sunday. Management reserves the right to move parties if attendance decreases.

Alcoholic Beverages: The South California State Liquor Commission does not permit any alcoholic beverages to be brought into the restaurant for any function and also forbids removal of any unopened bottles from the premises.

Pricing: All prices are subject to change up to 30 days prior to the function and do not include service charges or tax.
